With seven floors of striking architecture, UMoMA presents displays of global modern art, occasionally in conjunction with art historical retrospectives. Essential, political and theoretical matters are essential to our agenda. As a guest, you are welcome to guided tours, artist discussions, lectures, movie viewings and other events with complimentary admission
The presentations are created by UMoMA in partnership with artists and museums worldwide and they frequently attract global recognition. UMoMA has been honored with a Special Commendation from the European Museum of the Year and was one of the leading contenders for the Swedish Museum of the Year Award as well as the Council of Europe Museum Prize.
